Netflix Virgin River star Martin Henderson talked about his character in the series and revealed what he loves most about it.
In an interview with Interviewers, Jack-portrayer Martin Henderson appreciated Jack’s depth and struggles and said that “The show was essentially, almost a Hallmark-y type genre and we both, I think, Alex [Breckenridge] and I and all the cast understood that it was only going to work if it had a depth to it.”
Henderson continued that “She assured me that there was a much more complex, darker side to him, you know, and more conflicts that would come out as the story went along. And that is true, and you know, I really appreciate that.”
“[I appreciate] being able to play someone who, you know, is obviously very romantic and loving, but he’s also got all his struggles. I think everybody in life is going through some struggle no matter what it looks like on the outside … so I feel really blessed that I get to play a character that has that dimension to him,” the actor added.
Virgin River debuted on the streaming platform in December 2019. The series will be returned with its fifth season on Netflix in 2023.
What will Charmaine’s twins’ dad look like on Virgin River season 5?
Netflix series Virgin River season four ended on an important cliffhanger, since then fans have been putting forward theories about Charmaine’s unborn twins.
Spoiler: Season four of the popular series Virgin River concluded with the revelation made by Charmaine played by Lauren Hammersley that her unborn twins were not in fact the former marines.
This major revelation made the fans recount the entire series for clues in order to find out who the father could actually be.
Various names from Virgin River have emerged with the possibility to be unveiled as the twins’ father so far. However, a new theory has suggested that Vince played by Steve Bacic could actually be the dad.
There is also a number of clues that appear to support the prediction put forward by one Virgin River fan on Reddit.
“I think Vince will be arrested (remember, Mike, is on his way) and then it will be revealed that he is the father of Charmaine’s twins. (The result of a one-night hook-up). He wrote.
“This would explain the twin’s thing (Vince is a twin to Paige’s husband). It would also explain why Charmaine would not want to tell who the real father of the twins is.” He emphasized.
He went on further “First, she was trying to trap Jack, then she was just embarrassed. I am wondering/hoping that after all that happens, Paige (Lexa Doig) will take Christopher (Chase Petriw) and leave town to start a new life somewhere else. (It has been said that one of the characters will be leaving town).”
The theory certainly appeared to have the support of other members of the fandom, as one of them responded: “I still think this is a good plot idea.”
“It’s a tv show and doesn’t operate on the rules of real life and things actually work so this could totally happen!” another user added.
Release date announced for Netflix’s ‘Bank of Dave’
Netflix Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor will be starring in the streaming giant’s upcoming movie, Bank of Dave.
Netflix revealed that the new movie will be available to stream on the platform on January 16, 2022.
According to Digital Spy, Dynevor will be essaying the role of Alexandra in the new streaming movie, which follows the true story of Dave Fishwick, who garnered national attention when he opened Burnley Savings and Loans in 2011. James Bond star Rory Kinnear is set to play Fishwick in the film. The movie also stars Game of Thrones’ Joel Fry.
The movie is directed by Chris Foggin while the script is written by Piers Ashworth.
Of the movie, director Foggin said, “I was immediately drawn to this story about the triumph of community, and I’m delighted to be working with such a wonderful cast. I truly believe the world needs films like this!”
Ashworth, on the other hand, said, “This is such a great story and I’m delighted to be working with Chris and the team on the film, which I am sure will really resonate with audiences worldwide.”
What is the plot of the movie?
Fishwick’s company Burnley Savings and Loans found fame for its community lending after the small businesses from his town of Burnley, Lancashire failed to secure loans from bigger banks.
The film will focus on how Fishwick began his business in Burnley, which is famed for its charitable donations and was the subject of a Channel 4 documentary from 2012 of the same name.
Earlier this year, Dynevor’s first look on set as Alexandra was revealed, with the actress looking surprised wearing a red leather jacket.
Netflix’s Shadow and Bone Season 2: New image reveals the return of a fan-favorite character
Netflix’s upcoming season of Shadow and Bone will bring back a fan-favorite character.
The fantasy series is an adaptation of Leigh Bardugo’s best-selling Grishaverse novels, including the Shadow and Bone trilogy and the Six of Crows duology.
The new image from TVLine shows the Grisha tailor Genya looking visibly distressed as she stands before the Queen of Ravka. This is the first look that has been revealed of Genya or the Queen from the upcoming second season.
The nature of how Genya returns to the story and the tense, palpable emotions between her and the Queen in this image already raises many intriguing questions about what the series has in store this time around. The image may also hint that the Queen of Ravka is likely no longer in quarantine for fear of catching her husband’s “sickness.”
SPOLIERS AHEAD of Season 1 plot: In the first season of the show, Genya admitted to Alina that she is a spy and soldier for the Darkling, she approves of the lengths he’ll go to protect Grisha, and that this comes before their friendship, via ScreenRant.
It was later revealed that Genya poisoned the King of Ravka, a move that helped her get her long-awaited revenge after being abused by the King for years. It is a possibility that The Queen found out the truth of what Genya did, which would explain her stern expression and Genya’s visible distress. Genya may also be upset due to the Queen telling her what the Darkling did at the end of Shadow and Bone season 1.
However, at the end of the season, the Darkling manipulates Alina in order to control her and ultimately her powers as a Sun Summoner.
Season 2 is set to release on March 16, 2023.
