Amid the Diwali fever running high, the other Kapoor family of Bollywood rang in the birthday of producer-filmmaker Boney Kapoor in a rather grand manner. His children seemed to have planned a special birthday bash for their daddy dearest and it was needless to say, a starry affair. While the bash was held on the special day, that is November 11, it was attended by several celebrities like Varun Dhawan, Bhumi Pednekar, Karan Johar, Jackie Shroff, Boney’s niece Shanaya Kapoor, among others along with the kids Arjun Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, and Khushi Kapoor. Janhvi’s rumored bae Shikhar Pahariya and Khushi’s The Archies co-star Vedang Raina were also a part of the party.
Orhan Awtramani, who seemed to have piqued everyone’s interest with his constant presence at every Bollywood event, took to his social media a day ago to share photos from this lavish but private gathering. The attendees sported ethnic outfits to match the Diwali vibe. While Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor opted for sarees, Bhumi Pednekar donned a pink lehenga. Among the guys, Arjun Kapoor and Karan Johar were seen in an all-black ethnic outfit, and Shikhar was seen in a maroon outfit. Varun looked suave in his all-white look whereas Shanaya kept it shining in her bejeweled sequined lehenga-choli. Along with photos, Orry also took his fans inside the cake-cutting ceremony of Boney Kapoor.
For the unversed, Boney Kapoor is a renowned filmmaker-producer who has made films not only in Hindi but also in other languages. His son Arjun Kapoor, and his daughter (with the late Sridevi) Janhvi Kapoor are established stars, whereas, his youngest daughter Khushi Kapoor will be making her big debut this year with the Zoya Akhtar film The Archies on Netflix.
