Even before captivating audiences on the silver screen in Karan Johar’s Student of the Year 2, Tara Sutaria had already established herself as a talented vocalist. Trained in the western classical music since the young age of seven, Tara had carved a path for herself in the world of musical theatre and opera. She even lent her voice to films and commercials, showcasing her versatility as an artist.

A recent social media post reignited the flame of her musical past. Tara shared a throwback video of a captivating operatic performance with The Bombay Chamber Orchestra at the 2016 reopening of Liberty Cinema in Mumbai. The video, featuring her rendition of the second verse of “Ave Maria,” garnered praise from fans and fellow artists alike.

Capitalizing on World Music Day, News18 spoke to Tara, who delved into her enduring love for live singing and her dream of returning to the stage. “I’m absolutely going to do that,” she declared, her voice filled with determination. “At the beginning of this year, I resolved to get back to music. It’s something I truly miss, and not doing it would leave a void.”

Mumbai music lovers can rejoice, as Tara revealed, “I’ve begun planning my own concerts again. I’m collaborating with incredible musicians from across the country to make this first concert in years truly special. The feedback has been phenomenal, and I can assure you it’s going to be a big one!”

Meanwhile, Tara Sutaria was last seen in Apoorva on Disney+ Hotstar. She is yet to announce her next project.
